FAQs before we take it further

This isn't therapy. There's no small room and awkward silences. The videos are short, engaging, with a single focus and tip per video. The aim throughout is consistent - to help your son realise that his troubles are not coming from the external world. Once he realises he will take back control.

Although no small investment, it is still an affordable alternative to private therapy. These are £80–£120 per session, with an average of 12 sessions, no guarantee of engagement, and no parental support. That's £1,000+ for less. My aim is to make myself ‘redundant’ after the 6 weeks, rather than your son needing me as a crutch. And of course, if you don’t notice a difference I will give you a full refund, no questions asked.

Traditional therapy fails boys because it's built for adults who want to talk. This isn't that. It's been designed from 3 years of working with boys specifically, ditching the therapy room model entirely. I give boys the tools to overcome the emotions, and parents the tips to help them do this.

The longer you wait, the more reinforced the patterns become. I am often told by parents that they came across my page 6 months previously, and regret not acting before it got to breaking point.

No two boys are the same, which is why you get direct messaging access to me for the full 6 weeks. This gives you a chance to tackle the more unique challenges in your family situation.

I received a BACP-accredited degree in counselling and psychotherapy at Colchester Institute, and have since spent three years working with boys at schools including Global Academy. The programme is built from hundreds of hours of working directly with boys (and parents), to ensure the best possible chance of engagement.

The videos have been used by boys from age 8-16. The language has been kept purposely simple because I believe this is how boys learn best. The ‘characters’ of the videos are mid teens - this gives the older boys someone to relate to, and the younger boys someone to aim for.
